If our grandkids are still permitted by law to be pissed, they’re gonna be pissed. @

How did we go from ‘disgraceful’ wiretapping calls with Arabs, to the acceptability of unmanned (armed?) spy drones watching US citizens? @

Some rightly say “it’s the economy stupid”, but I say that the failing economy is merely a symptom of a much greater disease: marxism @

When biz’s cave to “Color Of Change” & run from ALEC, it tells me how they view their customer base. @

Bad enough we have gov’t harassing us, but we gotta deal with their low life minion shake-downers like ColorOfChange too. @

American government is not America, WE are. At least that’s how it was before the people in govt got such high opinions of themselves. @

Some people should live forever, and some people should never have lived, and we’ll know them both, after they have lived. @

To progressives, “tradition” is an expletive, and a myth, unless they started it, tomorrow. @

Whoever coined “Nothing lasts forever” must’ve been a progressive… and an atheist. Maybe it was wishful thinking on their part? @

Dependence Day #MoviesWithObama (i cant be the first to throw this one out there) @

To each their own… unless it’s mine. @

Our government has piled up enough DEBT to buy a country. How does it feel to be owned? @

Wonder what percentage of GDP is spent on limiting GDP ? @

Dad said: Work hard no matter the job. Never back down from a fight. Never hit a girl. Despise liars, cheats, & thieves. @

Again, just my gut, obama2012 re-election is an expendable distraction. They think in generational terms, and are focused on the finishing. @

Step up, not on, kid, and step not aside @

What happens when this PSYCHO Samir Shabazz hurts somebody? This okay with Obama2012 Justice Dept.? SICK!@

Some Common Sense Ideas for Fixing the America that Shouldn’t be Broke

Got sparked a little while ago on the subject of solutions to America’s problems, you know, instead of just complaining about them, and jotted down these ideas off the top of my head. Some I’ve heard, can’t say where, some I don’t recall hearing, but they may be out there.

You might guess that I’m of the opinion that government largesse and intrusion and corruption is much of the problem, and that’d make you sharp as a tack. If you are new to this sort of thing, consider that everything government has, it first took from the people, or has yet to take from the people. Also note that gov’t IS necessary, but only to the extent summarized in the Declaration, and spelled out in the Constitution. We had a deal.

Anyway, here they are, from a common sense, unedumacated perspective:
updated: 2012.05.11 07:00pm est

  1. How about a 10% flat tax, everybody pays regardless of station? 10%’s good enough for God, it oughta be good enough for gov’t. @
  2. How about a gov’t budget that only spends last year’s receipts? @
  3. How about privatizing every entitlement program? All voluntary! Charity is charity, gov’t is gov’t. See? @
  4. How about quantitative legislation? That is, law specifically measured against loss of liberty and property. @
  5. How about a per capita regulatory limit? Want to make a new law, repeal an old one. @
  6. How about a moratorium on new law, contingent on the reduction of current law by, say, 25%? @
  7. How about a per capita limit on the number of gov’t bureaucrats? @
  8. How about a sunset provision on every law and regulation? Mandated revisits. @
  9. How about every legislation be required in its text to explain its Constitutionality? @
  10. How about voter registration requirements that equal drivers license requirements? Prove identity, take a test. @
  11. How about mandatory recall/impeachment/firing of every civil servant who works against the Constitution, which they vow to protect? @
  12. How about we ban all favoritism by gov’t, whether it be race, gender, business, religion, sexual deviance, or whatever? Equality in law. @
  13. How about we kill those who are trying to kill us? Period. Let the military do its job. @
  14. How about we abolish some  Executive Departments, take your pick, like ED HHS HUD and all unaccountable Czars h/t @blove65
  15. How ‘bout we ban lawyers from making laws? @

Comfort is the fruit of Liberty’s labor, but as a seed, it bears none. @

What worry would a man have of his legacy, if he presumes there will be no history to name him? @

Doubting the intentions and actions of the powerful is not only sensible, but vital. @

With awareness of an impending American catastrophe, the powerful and corrupt would ensure their spoils before the fall. @

Govt waste, largesse, and the profound disregard for the people can be explained by their knowledge that America is soon to be Over. @

Only after we agree on Who We Are will it be possible to fix what is wrong with us. @ American Identity

The GOP needs to understand that my support for them is NOT absolute, as I only tolerate them in opposition to their tyrannical counterpart. @

Free speech & free press are mentioned separately, but in the same statement, which implies a shared standard for individuals & institutions? @

Return of the American Identity

The American Identity has been taken from her people, gradually, methodically, and with forethought and malice.

The American Identity has been whittled over successive generations, so as to finish it, and remake it.

In the face of unbelievable American success, indigenous foreigners have undone it, in the name of what.

There can be no other cause for the dire state of our union, except that we the people have allowed for our fundamental redefining.

For if government were representative of a people who knew their character, then government would never have done such harm.

Being a nation of, by, and for the people, logic demands that the people know what they are of, by, and for. Hence, the American Identity.

So if we are to be saved from mistaken identity, then we must return to the American Identity, else we be american in name only. Simple?

Stealth Drone Attack: a Prelude

11 Sunday Mar 2012

So here we all are, fifteen or so, half in the house yacking and face-stuffing, the rest on the patio yacking and smoking up the joint. It’s a beautiful pre-spring Saturday, sunny, clean, perfect for our gathering. It is a family thing, involving a very very ill not-so-old Grandma, and her very young grandkids sharing a very close in time b-day. Her family and assorted friends are here at her place. Suffice it say, emotional kind of day.

So, an hour or more in to the thing, half of us are out smoking like I said, and along comes the neighbor. Seen him a while back at another family thing hauling his beautiful baby, seemed nice enough, white-collar type. This time though, he’s toting one of those accordion looking brown file folders and a CD. Calmly and robotically, he takes a seat in our midst, handy folder in lap, fingers lightly drumming the opening.

A few niceties float his way without much of a response, like “heard your daughter is adorable”, which got “She’s asleep”, or something resembling. His face was blank, his words monotone, emotionless. “I.know.this.is.a.family.gathering.and.all, but….” and so begins what he was sent here to do. This day’s deal was the evils of fracking, but that’s really not the fracking point.

Ya know, political talks and debates are common at these get-togethers, sometimes getting started in earnest a few beers in.  But this was different. This man, I mean hack, I mean drone, was on a mission from the leader, whoever that be, and saw this grouping of people as an opportunity to sell his wares of planetness, regardless of and impervious to the meaning of the joining and the feelings of those joined. He knew the situation, he knew the grief.

We tolerated him at the outset, thinking the outset strange of course, rolling eyes, smirking a bit, and countering. But only a few minutes it took to reveal that the drone was quest-bound. Breaking out prints of web pages, spewing stats, reading from some glossy sierra club publication, and offering connections to information that seemingly could only be gleaned thru him. This was all in his hand dandy flexible folder, don’t ya know.

It got real quiet, real fast, even among liberals in the group, but the drone was undeterred. Monotone, emotionless, programmed. Individuals politely stood and entered the house one by one until he was virtually left alone, and finally went home, but indeed, only to return briefly with a hand delivery to Grandpa of an indispensable DVD, of which he owned ten.

I tell you this story for reasons that should be apparent by now, that is if you are in any way inclined to politics or civics. There are people among us that will put their radical agendas ahead of Every Thing you hold dear, including family and country, and they will calmly and COLDLY and programmatically spew their rhetoric and propaganda, regardless of your life circumstance.

This thing truly struck me. It is a textbook example of what we face in this great country, in these times, and in the coming elections. These radical left wing drones have attached themselves so to their religion of a godless and communal paradise that they have lost all sense of humanity. It is beyond weird, it is devious, and you, to them, are a mere tool.

Sadly, the drones are American born, American made, and targeting America, stealthily, and in plain sight. They are a cult. Guard yourself and yours from being taken in, or they will win.

~tdv

Note: I borrow the term “drone” from the great Mark Levin, an American, a man I respect, author of Liberty and Tyranny, Ameritopia, and others, talkshow host, legal scholar. I am unaffiliated, just a dude.

You Petty, Sniveling Little Worm!

07 Wednesday Mar 2012

america, self-help

You petty, sniveling little worm! This is all your fault, this unraveling and decay of the great American experiment.

You think yourself superior, insulated, entitled, enlightened, better able to decide, but guess what, you don’t know me, you don’t know them, and your actions and your causes and your anti-Americanism and your indolence has direct negative effects on innocent individuals, you know, people. You hurt people, and if you had the honor and dignity to step down from your high horse, step away from your self-importance, then you would realize that the pain you inflict is real.

And let me tell you something else, if you think that your support for the undoing of America will somehow grant you a special place in the hearts of the new dictatorship, then you are sorely mistaken, as when the despots have finished with your current usefulness, you will become a mere turd stuck to their shoe.

And another thing, the Constitution is NOT a worn out, tired old document. ITS A DEAL! You know, a contract. So here it is, the Constitution creates an environment that allows, by sweat and blood of individuals, people, the creation of the greatest country ever on earth, then you come along all high and mighty and filled with wisdom and say “oh, that don’t mean shit, I know better”, and then, in your godly state, you proceed to tear down the very structure of America, take from the backs of the builders, and discard the very thing that Americans died protecting.

Really, if you could find within that thick heart of yours an ounce of decency, and honor, responsibility, and dare I say patriotism, we’d all be better for it… including you. America IS compassion, not you.

Think I’m talking to you? Probably right, then. So why don’t you fix it, stop your disgusting whining, and busy-bodying, and be an American!  Life aint fair, sometimes you don’t get what you want. Sometimes you are wrong, been taught wrong, tricked. Get over it, get on the right side, get on the American side, before there’s no America left to be.

With Love, ~tdv

The Box is Good

The box is good, we love our box, we do. We live for the box, the box lives for we, and we have bliss in this. The box is of our making, but we know not how. We are in, they are out, better they just tell us what and how. Just us and our box maketh we. We’re just here, that’s how it be.

The box has sides. Dare not take the sides, for they hide us well from that conflict and this. And the sides have no cuts for us to peek thru and out, and we know this is good for us, not seeing. A drawing on the left side gives us our looking, and it’s good, even changes at times.

The box has a bottom on which to stand, but we prefer to lie upon it. They say the bottom is weak, and we believe, and distribute our weight evenly. The top, well, that’s the best of the box. It’s blue like sky, makes us free and open, like we like to be.

The box is good. Cannot ever leave, but we are free, in this box, are we.
