This Somebody That’s Going to Figure Me All Out

dependence, fairy tale, God, self-sufficiency, truth, waiting, when i grow up

Just sitting here thinking how great it would be if somebody randomly reviewed the whole of my life, and then gave me the perfect idea as to what to do with the rest of my life.

Wouldn’t that be great?!

This somebody would see everything that I’ve ever done, every contribution I’ve made, every success small and great within my rucksack of jobs and hobbies and interests, every positive impression I’ve made at work or among family or friends, and see every great idea I ever had that I never wrote down.

This somebody would also see everything I’ve ever done wrong, every failure and error and blunder, every moment that I’d done someone wrong even when I didn’t realize it at the time, and see the dumbest ideas and thoughts that ever came to my mind or spewed from my mouth.

This is great!

Then, this somebody would randomly appear out of nowhere, absent any malice whatsoever, armed with every piece of data that is and ever was, of my heart and mind and hands, this somebody would extrapolate from my long life what exactly I am supposed to be when I grow up, after the fact, and tell me with prophetic hindsight that one thing that I was meant to do on earth that was mine alone to do.

Then I’d smack myself upside the head at the obviousness of what I’d struggled with since youth to figure out. I’d kick myself at the wasted (undisclosed) decades, which if you’ve ever seen someone try to kick themselves, I’d look ridiculous…

Time to get to work.

After this somebody schools me and takes their leave, I am left, aside from the elation at the new truth, I am left with the quick realization that this thing that I am to do, this thing that I’m made for and must make, will be an enormous undertaking. And that somebody didn’t provide the precise detail of my contribution, because then it wouldn’t be mine, of course.

So what did I need this somebody for, anyway? I mean, I’m going to do all the work, I’m the one that did all that I’ve done, I’m the one that built that database. Man, this somebody that I imagine randomly figuring it all out for me, can’t really be anybody but me, accompanied by maybe my God.

Yeah, that’ll be great when it happens, when me and maybe my God figure me all out, what I’m doing here, and I’m not waiting around for it. Best get to work, getting ready to really get to work.

This other somebody stuff… is a fairy tale. I thank God that such thoughts leave my mind as fast as they enter, leaving me much faster than I can think to write them down. And I pity those who cling to such fantasies, waiting on men, because there’s always another “this somebody” willing to take the advantage. Makes me wonder where those kind of ideas come from in the first place.

Who Knew, Recipients of Stolen Gifts

charity, coercion, dependence, dignity, govt, ignorance, redistribution, theft

If every American knew the SOURCE of government stuff, we’d be well on our way, ’cause THEN we could separate the ignorant from the thieves.

Some will say “What can I do to be free?”, some “I am afraid”, others “I’ll take it nonetheless”. Two of these, our countrymen, we can help.

So, the source of all that “free” stuff, is the people, by their hands and minds. Govt TAKES before it gives, it borrows (future TAKES) before it gives, or govt prints money (TAKING from its value) before it gives. From ALL who earn and own, from ALL who did and will, earn and own, it is taken, with nary a thanks.

What’s worse is that this “provider” government of ours is so thoroughly entrenched in the lives of the people, that when they learn that the programs on which they rely and take for granted are actually funded out of the pockets of their neighbors and family, the people are fearful of honorably weaning themselves and finding the dignity of their liberty. But this, is how the govt wants it to be. It is the politicians job security, and his infinite station among the elite, when he is wholly depended upon for all that which he has no claim.

Would you dare ask your neighbor for what you demand from government?
…by the way… Would you approach anyone you know and say, “You have too much, so GIVE ME some!” or “I am entitled to your food” or “Pay my doctor bill!” or “I don’t care if you can afford to send your kid to school or not. PROVIDE for MY school!”

Retribution is at the beginning and end of re.dis.tribution
There are powerful people in government who have massive chips on their shoulders. Motivated by both general and specific disdain, they punish by taking property and redistributing it to those whom they favor, and to those who will promote their reprisals. As well, many in government believe that America is evil at its core, and merely USE redistribution and class warfare as a divisive and manipulative tool to affect fundamental transformation of this country.

Government is a confiscatory shadow, and a bright light of charity. It is no accident that citizens are in the dark.
Notice that government always makes itself the popular hero, the rescuer, the primary and perpetual benevolent and indispensable entity. And if that govt happens to be controlled by Democrats, preferably of the most leftist non-traditional variety, we hear the great wonders of the great government trumpeted from the rooftops of every popular media venue imaginable. Rarely do we hear any tell of govt’s oppressive and unjust schemes of punitive taxation and control, or the overall pillaging of current and future American wealth, that funds their so-called charity.

So there you go. It won’t matter till we all know, when mostly what will matter is who it matters to.

Cower So, My Countrymen

While ignorance is the fancy of tyrants and masters, greater is their devotion to the cowardice of dependence. This they breathe. @

Cowardice cedes liberty for perceived comfort; it fears the labor of liberty, and blindly embraces the haven of despotism. @

Cower so, my countrymen; bathe yourself in the promise of your master, then wallow in the mire of contempt for your brother. @

It’s prejudice to judge people based on race, but you vote (judge) based on this criteria, so you are either a bigot, or just an idiot. @

There is a natural and chaotic hierarchy among men, it is never static or predestined, and only arrogance sets out to control it. @

Dependence: a Censure

dependence, dignity, government.reliance, honor, independence, indolence, lazy, liberty, sloth

You are not entitled, you have no right or claim, to the property of others, in any form, for any cause, lest by contract of barter. Expectation of sustenance in the absence of reciprocal value is immoral, it is arrogant covetousness, and it is presumed theft. Only a child is forgiven this.

Reliance on government is just such a corruption, worse, as government must first plunder the property of your neighbor by the force of law before providing for you.

You trade your own liberty for every craving the government fulfills, and pilfer the liberty of another when you collect. Truly, reliance on government, apart from its charter of securing liberty, is the antithesis of liberty.

If it be the rareness that some service-in-kind cannot be provided in exchange for your provisions, then humble must be the request, and gratitude the proper response. And if it be little you have to offer, then offer it proudly, as your contribution will reward your conscience and give you honor.

The dignity that is inherent in self-sufficiency and independence is immeasurable. One need only look to the resounding success of the American experiment for evidence.

What is it, after all, that makes a man of sloth, like you, and drawn to the slavery of dependence? How does one conclude that existence as a parasite is superior to the fullness of liberty? And what sort of man influences another to a duty of indolence? What hell it is to travel life without purpose, and what evil it is to promote this hell for your fellow man.

Take expedition to your soul, extract the man, and throw off the prophet of want!
