Sadness is how some react to Islamic barbarians attacking OUR embassies and brutally murdering OUR American citizens. The Muslim reasoning is a pretended outrage over a YouTube video, but in reality it was simply the 11th anniversary of Islamic barbarians murdering thousands of other Americans. Then, on the heels of OUR American government apologizing and appeasing once again for the fallacy of OUR being the cause of their barbarity, and as is characteristic of OUR America-hating left-wing Americans, and those America-hating “Allies”, we have this: “Disturbing Calls For Censorship In America By Professors, Journalists, U.S. Diplomats, And Egyptian Government
by Hans Bader 09.13.12 (Hat tip protein wisdom)

In response to a film that mocked Mohammed, journalists on MSNBC, a professor, and the Egyptian government called for punishment of the film’s producers. Prominent left-leaning law professors have similarly advocated that such speech be restricted, citing customary international law.
[…]
The Egyptian government said, “We ask the American government to take a firm position toward this film’s producers within the framework of international charters that criminalise acts that stir strife on the basis of race, colour or religion.”
[…]
[Professor Anthea Butler of the University of Pennsylvania]: “Good Morning. How soon is [producer] Sam Bacile going to be in jail folks? I need him to go now. When Americans die because you are stupid…” “And yes, I know we have First Amendment rights, but if you don’t understand the Religion you hate, STFU about it. . . . people do jail for speech.
[MSNBC’s Mike Barnicle] “Given this supposed minister’s role in last year’s riots in Afghanistan, where people died, and given his apparent or his alleged role in this film, where, not yet nailed down, but at least one American, perhaps the American ambassador is dead, it might be time for the Department of Justice to start viewing his role as an accessory before or after the fact.”

Why should we care what the Obama administration says to curry favor at the UN? After all, the First Amendment trumps customary international law, right? Well, not according to some respected left-leaning legal scholars, such as Peter Spiro. International law can undermine civil liberties either directly, by expanding the government’s enumerated powers, or indirectly, by giving the federal government a “compelling interest” for imposing an otherwise forbidden regulation.

This is backward effing’ ridiculous! Third world garbage punches us in the face, and “our” people want to punch “us” in the face.

Consider the idiocy as an example that their arguments are a mere screen. If some fool harms Mr. Bacile based on the words of MSNBC’s Barnicle, Prof. Butler and ilk, the logic then is that THEY should be jailed? Or would they be deserving unequally and partially to a writ of monarchical waiver, given THEIR speech was merely conducive to the proper ends of the crown(s)?

Selective liberty is tyranny. Their suggestion reeks of bullsh!t.

First Response: Fealty to the Enemy…. fail your own.

And how many “acts that stir strife on the basis of race, colour or religion” are Muslim leaders and the American left wing GUILTY of? Hypocrites!

Apart from the obvious WEAKNESS that pat leftist thinking might illustrate, it can otherwise be no more than another example of “not letting a crisis go to waste” as a valuable tool in the “fundamental transformation” of the U.S.A. by scheming, conniving, radical world-power statists.  And… word’s coming out that the U.S. State Department had 48 hours warning
*Update: (how could I forget) W.T.F.!! Marines defending U.S. embassy in Egypt NOT ALLOWED by State Dept. to carry LIVE AMMO!!

Beware, my countrymen! Know your God, know your Constitution, keep your family.

Feigned motives are a cover and a distraction. This is what they are after; it is always what they are after:

Art.VI,c.2: This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.

Speaking of… How can a Treaty be made under the Authority of the United States that is counter to the very Constitution which Enumerates their Authority?
“Respected scholars”? Repeal the 1st Amendment or STFU about it.

No “international law” can undermine or expand our Constitution. Only We the People, by the Amendment process, have any such power.

If they, or you, are prepared to discard by fiat any provision in our Constitution, then you must also be prepared to discard the whole of it.

Oh… Hello world, we are the United States of America, and if you be inclined to malice, don’t be misled to encouragement by the elitist utopians and the temporary power among us who would join with you and shelter you. The true power in America has always been, will ever be, the great body of her people, most of whom bear no likeness to the aforementioned… and we are pissed.
